Puppies on the Porch Philanthropy

Puppies on the Porch is a philanthropy hosted at Purdue University by the Sigma Chi fraternity and Delta Gamma sorority. The event aims to raise $1000 for a local charity, Lafayette Urban Ministry, by selling tickets for Purdue students to come play with puppies. Puppies on the Porch supports a local charity and raises awareness of several local animal shelters.

The Lafayette Urban Ministry (LUM) is an organization of 42 Christian churches that serves as a social safety net for Lafayette's needy children and families. For over 40 years, LUM has worked to give back the hope, the future, and the self-respect to low-income people in the Greater Lafayette area.
